Creamfields Festival is a British dance music festival first initiated in 1998. It is an annual event that takes place at Daresbury, England, near the city of Liverpool over the August Bank Holiday. Over the years the festival has expanded to various international locations but the Daresbury edition remains the most popular one. The festival has won ‘Best Dance Festival‘ award a record eight years in a row.
The 2017 edition of the festival is expected to be one of the largest productions in the last 20 years since its conception. It will host over 70000 attendees, with a lineup of over 300 artists over 30 stages. The main eight stages are, STEELYARD, TOWERS ARENA, WAREHOUSE, HORIZON, CURVE, NATION, MEGA ARENA, ARC STAGE. The impressive lineup consists of celebrated artists and headliners like Axwell & Ingrosso, Tiesto, deadmau5, Diplo, Annie Mac and many more.
The festival is characterised with its vibrant flair and energetic atmosphere. The state-of-the-art stages and eclectic collection of performers create a submersive atmosphere, especially for those who enjoy electronic music. The large number of stages and an even larger lineup of artists give the attendees’ ample variety both visually and sonically. On-site camping gives an even immersive experience. What makes the festival additionally full of life are the various food joints and stores. The Pamper Street is one such area where attendees can enjoy pampering and engage in a relaxing and rejuvenating experience undertaken by professional artists.
The festival however does not permit drugs inside festival areas and alcohol is permitted only in plastic containers but restricted from the arenas. The ticket prices range fron £85 for standard day tickets to £330 for gold 4 day tickets. Booking fees may be additionaly levied.
