BoardMasters will kick start from 9th August. Here are the answers to a few questions which are about to come to your mind.


What’s included with a Boardmasters Ticket?

BoardMasters Ticket has multiple with different benefits optimized accordingly to benefits of every reveler. Find out more details here.

Do I need to purchase a ticket to watch the surfing competitions?

No. You do not need to purchase a ticket to watch any of the sporting events at Boardmasters. Surf, Skate and BMX events are held at Fistral Beach and do not require a ticket.

Do I need a ticket for my car or campervan?

Yes. You will need to purchase a pass for carpark or camper van campsite access. There is a £10 charge to re-enter the carparks if you leave.

Can I use my converted car/van/truck in the Campervan Field

No. We only allow campervans, motorhomes, caravans, and trailer-tents.

Can I reserve a camping place?

Only VIP pre-erected tents can be reserved. However, if you purchase a Long Weekend ticket you will have the luxury of a first choice pick in the campsite. If you want to guarantee a good pitch… make sure you get there early

 Will there be showering facilities?

Yes, there are shower facilities if you feel the need to freshen up. There are likely to be queued in the morning around 9am – 11am so it is advised you use these facilities at off peak times to avoid any waiting.

 Can I bring my cooker?

Due to the risk of fire any kind of cooking utilities is not allowed.

 I’m only 15 (or younger), can I still come?

Yes! All ages are welcome to the festival but the following age restrictions apply:

Persons’ aged 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years and above. The following age restrictions apply:
•  18 year olds can only accompany two under 16 year olds.
•  24 year olds can only accompany four under 16 year olds.
•  25 year olds can accompany more than four under 16 year olds.

What facilities are available for disabled access?

Boardmasters is committed to making the site accessible for those with disabilities. However, as it is a festival site there are areas of uneven ground that could make access difficult. Stewards and medical team members will be on hand to help if you require assistance. There are toilet blocks and other public areas designed for wheelchair use.

 Is there a carer scheme in place?

Yes, we offer 2-for-1 tickets for persons who require a personal carer.

Are pets allowed onsite?

No pets or animals are allowed on site with the exception of guide dogs.

Can I charge my mobile phone?

Charge Candy makes it easy to keep your phone charged the entire festival. Sign up and get your very own portable phone charger. When you need more power, drop by the charging station and swap it to a new fully charged. Stay connected and share your festival experience

What lighting is used?

It is advised that flicker, laser, strobe and other lighting effects may be used during some performances.

Will there be cash machines?

Yes, there will be multiple cash machines throughout the site. Although the availability of cash is not guaranteed due to overlogging.
