Lovebox Festival

Over the years, this East London Festival has risen in prominence steadily and has now become one of the most popular and beloved music festivals in the world. The festival boasts a fantastic line-up each year, with huge names like Frank Ocean and LCD Soundsystem scheduled to perform at this year’s Lovebox.

Lovebox is a mind-boggling experience that produces memories that stay with you for years to come, decades even. However, there are a few things one must keep in mind while attending the festival to ensure your experience at the festival is without a hassle and you get the best out of the 3 days.

General Information:

14th – 15th July 2017
At Victoria Park, Tower Hamlets, London, E3
Doors: 12 midday Friday / 12 midday Saturday
Curfew: 10.45pm Friday & Saturday

ID & Age Restrictions: 

  • Under 18s must be accompanied by a person aged 18 or over. For the avoidance of doubt, please note that this is not an 18 + event. 
  • Photographic ID might be required to gain entry:
    • Current Passport
    • Current UK Driver’s Licence or Provisional Licence
    • VALIDATE UK  (must be a pass card with a hologram – details on www.pass-scheme.org.uk)
    • CitizenCard
    • Oyster Photocard
    • NUS Card
    • A National identity card
  • Please note that there is a maximum of 4 under 18s per person aged 18 or over.
  • Everyone aged 12 or over will require a ticket to gain entry but children under 12 go free. They must be accompanied by a Ticket Holder aged 18 or over. Again, ID may be required to gain entry.
  • Please note that there is a maximum of 4 under 12s per person aged 18 or over.

 

Rules of The Land: 

• Illegal weapons and drugs are not permitted by law and will be confiscated, and you will be removed from the festival.

• Everyone aged 12 or over will require a ticket to gain entry but children under 12 go free. They must be accompanied by a ticket holder aged 18 or over.

• A maximum of 4 under 18s may be brought along by a ticket holder aged 18 or over.

• Photographic ID might be required for all customers to gain entry to the festival, so we advise that you carry this with you and ensure that all individuals in your care also have ID.

The following ID can be used as proof of age for entering the site:
• Current Passport
• Current UK Driver’s Licence or Provisional Licence
• VALIDATE UK (must be a pass card with a hologram – details on www.pass-scheme.org.uk)
• CitizenCard
• Oyster Photocard
• NUS Card

• Lose the laughing gas. Under the 2016 Psychoactive Substances Act, the supply (or offer to supply) of Nitrous Oxide is now a criminal offence when it is sold with the likelihood of being used to get high.

• Aftershave/perfume will be confiscated at the gates.

Festival Checklist: 

Remember when packing, that glass is not allowed at the festival for safety reasons.

• Sun protection cream
• One sealed bottle of water in a plastic bottle to bring

 

Family Info:

Families are very welcome at Lovebox, and under 12s go free. Everyone 12 or over must have a ticket and all under 18s must be accompanied by a person aged 18 or over.

Please note that there is a maximum of 4 under 18s to every person aged 18 or over, and a maximum of 4 under 12s to every person aged 18 or over.
